EL CORTEZ OFFERS DELICIOUS FEASTS TO BE THANKFUL FOR THIS THANKSGIVING
Individuals looking for a hearty Thanksgiving feast should look no further than the El Cortez Hotel & Casino. The historic casino is offering delicious dining specials at both Roberta’s Steakhouse and Café Cortez that will leave patrons stuffed and satisfied.
Each restaurant is offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal for a value price – Roberta’s Steakhouse, $16.95; Café Cortez, $11.95. Roberta’s Steakhouse is open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Café Cortez is open 24 hours a day.
Menu items for each restaurant are as follows:
Roberta’s Steakhouse
Appetizer: Tossed green salad with choice of dressing or roasted butternut squash soup
Main Course: Fresh roasted turkey, giblet gravy, sage dressing, mashed potatoes or candied yams, cranberry sauce and a vegetable medley
Dessert: Pumpkin cheesecake or apple pie
Café Cortez
Appetizer: Tossed green salad, choice of dressing or roasted butternut squash soup
Dinner: Option 1 - Fresh roasted turkey, giblet gravy, sage dressing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and green beans amandine
Option 2- Baked Virginia ham, brandy/pineapple sauce, sweet potatoes and green beans amandine
Dessert: Fresh baked pumpkin or apple pie
The property will open its newly renovated Café Cortez in mid November after a full renovation of its café formerly known as Kitty’s Café.
Constructed in 1941, El Cortez Hotel & Casino, an anchor property in the Fremont East Entertainment District, is located in historic downtown at 600 East Fremont Street.
